Developers Diversified Realty is supporting the International Year of Astronomy with "Stars Over Developers Diversified Realty," a national program that is taking place at 24 Developers Diversified shopping centers across the country from August 2009 - October 2009.
In 1609, Galileo's telescope discovered a whole new universe filled with images humans had never seen, including mountains and craters on the moon, stars in the distance and moons around Jupiter. In commemoration of that discovery 400 years ago, more than 140 countries around the world are celebrating the International Year of Astronomy.
Each of Developers Diversified Realty's 24 participating centers is featuring a series of astronomical events and exhibits to appeal to children and adults alike. "Stars Over Developers Diversified Realty" allows people across the country to take part in this worldwide celebration and observe the celestial wonders from Vermont to California.
